15 July 10 AmCham 10th Anniversary Celebration on July 9, 2010
The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham) held ıts 10th Anniversary Celebration on July 9, 2010 in Vahakni residential community Ararat Valley Country Club (pool area.)
Around 200 invitees attended this grand event, including AmCham member companies, representatives of RA Government, diplomatic community, major business associations, international organizations, wider business community and mass media.
The receptıon ın the pool area was followed by speeches of AmCham President David Atanessian and U.S. Ambassador Marie L. Yovanovitch. Mr. Atanessian congratulated AmCham members on the 10th Anniversary and thanked them for their contribution in AmCham development, as well as gave credit to all AmCham Presidents who occupied this post before him. In her speech Ambassador Yovanovitch stressed the importance of AmCham activities for the sake of promoting free and transparent business environment in Armenia. She expressed her appreciation to AmCham for all its work encouraging current members to contunue their support to the organization and new members to join AmCham.
After the speeches AmCham Executive Director conducted AmCham award ceremony. U.S. Ambassador was awarder in the category AmCham Person of the Year. The total of 15 AmCham members were awarded in different categories. The award ceremony was followed by the fireworks, live performance of Bambir rock band, and dancing under the DJ music.
